At Vet2Ag, we believe U.S. food security should be anchored in sustainable farming practices that prioritize the health of our soil and the well-being of our animals, maximizing the nutrition in the food we eat. We teach our members to produce high-quality, organic produce and humanely-raised meats for market.
Many older farmers and ranchers have already asked us if we could have our veterans help them work the land. We want to utilize those who have been doing this work for decades to train the next generation. This knowledge will be passed on to veterans and their children to ensure we have farmers to work the ground in the future.
As we get our headquarters farm up and running, we invite you to visit us for a tour of the farm. Just be prepared to get your boots dirty! We expect to have Festivals - Spring Planting Festival, Fall Festival (corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, and more), and December Holiday Festival complete with Christmas Tree lot and plenty of festivities.
Every regional Vet2Ag location (we plan to expand to multiple cooperative groups throughout the U.S.) will participate in local farmers markets. It will be our veterans and other volunteers manning the booths Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello!
